Join us August 10th-14th and August 17th-21st, 10am-3pm for a ten day long film summer camp for youth ages 10-18 as part of our 2026 Wellfleet Youth Film Festival!
This summer camp is free to participate in, but pre registration is required. You can register at the bottom of this page or by calling 508-349-1800.
Participants can expect to learn about the filmmaking process from first ideas through first screenings. This ten day, hands-on summer camp will be divided into two weeks. In Week 1, we will cover topics including screenwriting, script development, production design, post production, blocking, lighting, sound, editing and more. Students will also look at different forms that films can take and study some examples of different genres. In Week 2, students will apply the knowledge and skills they learned in Week 1 to choose a particular topic of interest to work on and help create an actual film.
