Alex Brewer will play a solo show of all original material. A former summer visitor, Brewer has called the Outer Cape home since 2012. Thematically, Brewer’s songs range across a wide spectrum, from challenging, thought-provoking topics such as police corruption to the more abstract and whimsical, such the psychology of a thoroughbred racehorse. Alex has a unique style all his own, an authentic voice unafraid to explore varying terrains, while always staying true to his down-to-earth, yet decidedly offbeat nature. For those who savor precise and powerful lyrics, this show should not be missed.
